Pet-Friendly May Include Fees

One thing you have to remember is that “pet friendly” doesn’t necessarily mean there’s not a hefty pet-fee. So check that when you travel. I use BringFido.com which let’s me filter out hotels that charge a pet for or choose ones that are $25 or less. Book using BringFido.com to find just the right hotel.

And if you’re looking for a great Florida day-trip idea with your pet that’s driving distance from the Sun Coast, head over to Miami’s Coconut Grove. Located right on Biscayne Bay, there are lots of parks, weekend markets, pet-friendly restaurants and even an original Pan Am Terminal where the seaplanes used to take off to Latin America and the Caribbean in the 1930’s.

Least Pet-Friendly for Travelers:

When it comes to the least pet-friendly vacation spots, Maui, New York City, Milwaukee, Brooklyn, and Detroit have some work to do according to the UpgradedPoints.com report. You’ll always be able to find hotels and other establishments who are ready to welcome you and your furry family members by using sites like BringFido.com
